LOL, around here we don't complain, because "it's a dry cold" ;) Plus we don't get much snow, and we usually have sunny blue skies all winter. :)

These temps are actually unusual for this time of year, more like late December/January through mid-March weather.

After the weekend we're supposed to get back up to normal.

Brrrr again. Frost on the pumpkin. In fact I need to cut up those pumpkins and feed to the goats. Time to get down my 'fall' look outside and start to switch over to christmas look. But heck they lick them a second and move on. My goats don't like 'stuff' given to them LOL

Quick clean up of the car. Somehow all of Nicoles junk seems to take over the back seat. So a fast clean out today since the sun will be shining.

few usual chores, nothing major.

Am still thinking of what fun thing I want to do today with kiddo. Tony off to work.

other than that a simple day here. which I like, simple ;), oh yea simple is good! :)

Never did find anywhere fun to go yesterday with Nicole.
We hung out at the house.
She learned to climb my front tree near the mailbox. She was in that tree most of the day :)

Today is cloudy but mild. Warmer than I would have thought outside...huh..no telling time of year. warm one day, freezing the next.

Heading to mom and dads at the lake today. Just to goof off for a bit. Nothing dramatic happening today.

When I get home I have soap work and a few usual chores.

Yesterday she had Bolt outside with her and he took off. Eventually I had to take a walk to find him when she came inside without him.

Ran into my neighbor next store. She is the neighbor who has the $423 per month bill for cell phone and cable tv. GET THIS.....I say, WOW it sure was cold outside this morning and she says OH YEA I had my heat on 74. :ep 74, I would COOK literally. I told her I had my heat set on 66 and she went :ep cause she said she would freeze to death. I said I didn't want a high elec. bill and could put on a sweater if needed and she said she would not do that, she wanted a warm house..LOL LOL------THEN she says she is waiting for hubby to bring back the truck. Her car died about 3 mos. ago and he has not fixed her car yet. (She is the one who lost her job a while ago)....so they are surviving on one vehicle until he can fix hers. Well, she is going to a tanning/herbal wrap/facial appt. and she wanted him home now so she could get the truck. Herbal wrap/facial? Money to burn? But I know they are in dire financial straights and might lose the house cause her house is like $1,600 per month mortgage and her COBRA insurance is like $1300 per month and she chatted with me for about 2 hrs. about how they might lose the house etc.

So I just smile. I tell ya, one minute someone says they might be destitute and the next they are cooking in 74 deg. heat bill and herbal wraps.

Then she tells me about the great b-day present she got her hubby. He was 50 this year. A $700 yard grass trimmer with pruning attachments. :ep HUH WHAT, $700. You gotta be kidding me LOL

Again I just smile and say cool.

I tell ya others peoples ways of handling financial distress amaze me....but no one will ever handle it the same way but obviously for me in such 'bad trouble she tells me', it sure can't be that bad...LOL......but I will let everyone know if a foreclosure sign goes up on their home LOL

ah, it is wild out there for sure!! :)

well off to get a few things done then off to mom and dads. Dad has the big 2 week Christmas craft fair at the market. I have to get TONS of soaps ready for sale. He should do very well this year. He has sold alot of soap and this holiday should prove very profitable for me...so that is a good thing

everyone enjoy this nice day!

Wonder what got the bunny in my yard? hoping big time not yotes...cause they are around...ugh

get out and put up Christmas tree for Nicole and Grandma to decorate on Wednesday. It will be fun for them.

get to the station and get propane tanks filled. UGH I tried to BBQ a few days ago and all tanks empty. WTH? I told Tony that is unacceptable and he needs to stay on top of that. Winter coming, that is emergency cooking during ice storms if needed....:tongue stay up with the chores boy!!!

Hi Karen. I wouldn't worry your neighbor will probably NOT be your neighbor much longer. It's so sad. Some people just don't get it. It's the sense of entitlement.

So how is Tonys finger?? Or was it his thumb?

hey G

the thumb is getting better. a few shots of antibotics in the butt helped...LOL

it is butt ugly tho. mangled but crusting over ya know where when he hits it, it is not as sensitive now but he still protects it big time :p

yea, I told Tony I could not understand someone having herbal wraps at $100 bucks a pop when they are 'in trouble'

maybe 'escape' thinking, which to me would still put ya in the hole LOL

I don't know...everyone lives so weird and different from me....

put in a deposit in overnight bin and not showing on statement as received......ugh pain in the xxx

in a bit putting up Xmas tree so Grandma and Nicole can decorate tomorrow when they come for dinner.

have my capons defrosting in outside fridge....everyone gets a capon tomorrow. yummy

working on usual chores.

after tree here in a bit, printing labels, wrapping soaps and off to the local health food store with a big order of soaps, then hit grocery for a few small items and home to do a bunch more just to get ahead of tomorrow.

Nicole off Wed/Thurs/Fri.

Dr. said Tonys finger is trying to get infected constantly. He is getting 4 shots in his butt over the next 4 days. 2 days at Dr office, then he will have to go to a different emergency room workers comp dr. for the other 2 cause this dr. is closed. Tony is not thrilled. It probably will screw up Thanksgiving on Thurs. with mom. I hope it doesn't LOL---I tell ya this finger is causing more darn pain in the xxx problems than it is worth. I might suggest he just lope it off, he has another

well off to get things done, busy busy busy big time

I called the bank and she started laughing the minute I said, --I made a deposit in overnight and it didn't get posted....HA HAHA

she said she was waiting for the call. They had the deposit sitting there and wondered when someone would notice it did not get posted

I was out of deposit slips with my info so I used a blank bank dep. slip and DID NOT FILL it out :plbb

I tell ya if my head was not screwed on I would lose it.....

lately I just am forgetting to do anything right?

I went to login to banking this morning and FORGOT my userID. Good thing I have it all written down on paper for my sites

Just little things are getting away from me. I used to say it was cause I was soooooo busy with the farm....but that excuse is gone.
truly I think I could care less about this crappola anymore. taking care of this, that, what number, that number, what form, what paper, what ID card, renewal of what, driver license, put that sticker on a license plate ETC ETC TOO MUCH to remember and I don't want to anymore
HAHAHAHA

oh well.....

off to hit the road and get the other junk done and come home and get that tree up.

AND unseasonable warm today. muggy warm. One minute gloves and a hat, and today I am thinking by afternoon I will be in shorts.
