Well I was told it'd take 3-4 weeks for the refund to hit the bank, but it didn't I'm going grocery shopping today. I'm sick to death of chicken and deer out of the freezer every single day I've been trying to clean out the freezers a bit to get some beef and pork in there and I think I have enough space now, and my tummy wants a burger Deer just makes too dry a burger for my picky taste buds. We're about chicken sandwiched and pizza & hot winged to death around here. I better eat before I go though, because EVERYTHING including a huge juicy steak with a massive salad and big baked potato sounds sooooo goood but I am NOT spending that kind of money today. Off to make a reasonable list!
I have to plant a bunch more stuff today in the greenhouse too, and move some things out that are ready to be moved to make room. And I still have to clean out the other side and organize everything....I got my work cut out for me.
Chilli kept me up last night and boy does she ever have a set of lungs on her! It was funny this morning, when the rooster crowed, she howled. every. single. time. She does let us know when she wants to go out though. She has a different whine for that than she does for attention. I think she is gonna be a really good dog None of my bullies have ever went for my birds either, and she shows little interest in ours thus far other than to howl at them. She'll get formally introduced when she's a smidgen bigger, right now she's only about the size of the 4 week old chicks She eats like a little pig though, and loves the deer meat with rice I made her. I will be trying to get her on more of a raw diet, rather than dog kibble. She may nibble dog food later, but for now, I'm making her food.
Anywho, that's pretty much my plans for the day. I gotta get motivated and moving.
ahhhh, don'tcha just love puppy breath! I want a puppy tooooo, but I will NOT get one. I will not get one, I will not.... Nope...got two terriers and a LGD already. But, I want a big, brawny, burly, rugged, mean-lookin' monster who is totally devoted to me and will follow me everywhere. Oh wait - I've got DH who already fits that description (except for the lookin' mean part - he's just a big ol' softy! LOL
