Absolutely agree!!!!!!!Wannabefree said:I won't even think of doing them in the heat down here....strictly Spring or Fall. I think it could work given the right temps. Like, if I had some NOW....they're be chickenciclesbut in the next few weeks to a month, it'd be perfect weather to do them like that. Plus, in a tractor, moving them every day, we have lots of shade here too. I'll probably do 25 or so at a time. I absolutely hated the last 10 but they are quicker than regular breeds. Always a trade off.
SomeONE will get a bad case of birdshot to their butt if they return! Two of my piglets are dead, and all THREE of the doors on my Silkie coop was opened this morning and Silkies were everywhere. All of them are accounted for, but WHY would some idiot do that?! WHY would they even come into my yard anyway?!?! I'm so ticked off about this!! There is no way that coop got opened on it's own, I have clips that are difficult for ME to unclip, no way they just mysteriously came open on their own. I went and looked and could not find any tracks, but they could have washed because it rained all night long. I suspect these freakin crackheads down the road may have something to do with it, and I WILL find out
Setting up round the clock surveillance starting tonight. I flippin dare someone to set foot back on my property and mess with my animals again
I may leave the shotgun sit and just go beat them into a mudhole myself I'm so mad!
