I don't know how much I could store. My freezer is medium sized chest type, but I know how to make a load of jerky :lol:

yeah, they will be 40 miles away though, so that will be difficult. This is why I am a bit aprehensive about taking on such a huge responsibility.

Okay, we've agreed on a few things:

- turn them into steers
- grow 'em until about 18 months old

FJ- When we had cows that was likely using the bathroom, standard procedure. Yeah they probably wont be infected.

18 months is a loooooong time. How big will they be at about 10? I can't handle two whole full grown steers minus what little bit of meat they want. :hu
