:/ Too tired...nah. I just want to catch it early if it is blight. They are about 3 foot tall now...one is more like 4 foot tall, and tomatoes are close by. I can't lose my whole garden to this crap. :barnie

IF it's blight they're going to have to be pulled up instead of built up. I can't risk the rest of my garden to potato blight. *sigh* I need to find out, and nobody is responding :( Nobody serious anyway :p

ETA: I just thought you had a spelling malfunction Jamie :hu

google bordeaux mixture . It is used to treat blight. Bordeaux Mix - A mixture or copper sulfate and hydrated lime, Bordeaux mix can be applied as a wettable powder or dust to control disease.

Don't panic. I'll stop now.

Per Wannabee.....can anyone give her some advice other than me.... thx.

I already looked that up. I just want to know if that is what it is or if it would be a waste of time/money to go get the treatment. I'm very inexperienced with potato growing, and DO NOT want to take a chance on losing my tomatoes. I have as many extras as I can grow sold already, and would very much like to profit from them.

Didn't tell you about that did I? I talked to my boss. He'll buy all my excess tomatoes, and porkk chops when I raise a hog. He uses that stuff in the cafe and has been getting very poor quality products. I can step up as the new supplier...possibly long term :D
