Facebook REALLY grates on my nerves some days, and now I have had two of those days in a row :/ I have a very diverse set of "friends" including acquaintances on there, and a few of my "friends" are about to get on my last nerve. One latina buddy in particular, along with one who has a LOT of children, high percentage of those children being autistic, and one other who is griping about how poor people don't pay any taxes

Latina...race issues, derogatory towards caucasian, of which HELLO, I AM, and I do not apreciate my race being called names no more than you do yours, BESIDES the fact that it is trashy to do so :/

baby factory...doesn't "spank" and finds those who do to be beneath her as far as intelligence. Nice to know. I spank mine, and they are still alive, and when they get other punishments they are often MAD that they didn't get an easy out with a spanking instead....so again... Of course I wouldn't spank an autistic child...hello, they tend to take most things literally, and if you spank them, they may read it as it's okay to hit, DUH!!!

THEN Oh holier than thou non poor person griping about poor not paying taxes...uh huh...scuse the crap outta ME but I AM POOR, and I DO in fact pay freakin taxes Bozo!!! I pay taxes every time I pull into the pump, every time I shop, every year I pay for property tax, and every stinkin time I roll down the street with legitimate tags on my vehicles, when I buy my hunting/fishing liscences, and every other time I just so happen to spend any money whatsoever. So WHEN do I not pay taxes? Once a dang year, that's when, when I fill out my income taxes for the year!

To all these offensive idiots I say BITE MY BIG POOR AINT AFRAID TO DISCIPLINE MY KID WHITE BUTTOCKS

Rant over. Just sayin'. HAD to get that out of my system!!!

I find I need to bite my tongue on FB quite often. I have some family friends and SS folks all on there. Most are really well behaved. I hate to admit most of the comments that chap my hide are from family.

I have learned to ignore them. So much so I wonder why I have them on FB at all.

Sometimes I think I should delete myself from FB. If people wonder what or where I am they could call. No??

Rant away! I spanked my kids when they needed it too. As for the rich and the poor, well, I've lived both sides and they both have thier own set of issues. Nobody has a perfect life...but the rich like to pretend and the working poor are alot happier group as a whole. The welfare poor are diiferent, not happy and poor too. Ahhh life!

She lives in the most expensive place around here on an island, water front with a private beach etc. Every year she throws a HUGE 4th of July party and everyone in her exclusive neighborhood attends. So do I (me and my poor, trashy arse), and I love every moment of it. Let me tell you, those rich peeps are worse than anyone on Peyton's Place!! Plus most of them have drinking/drug problems to boot. I LOVE hearing all the gossip!

As far as spanking, to each their own. I'm not a spanker and neither were my parents. However my older sister should have been spanked, she was BAD!! I don't judge unless it is excessive or cruel.

I have friends with old money as well, but they don't have those kinds of problems Guess it's all in how folks are raised to a large degree. I do enjoy hanging out with them at times.

The spanking thing is really what gets on my nerves. I'm a "to each their own" type person too, and I spank mine, when they were young, because it worked. It DOESN'T work with some kids. My eldest got two in 8 years of raising her. She'll tell you now she deserved both of them. Past a certain age where you can reason with a kid, spanking is no longer an effective tool. I do believe that pain is the first thing a child equates with...uhh maybe I shouldn't do that, and THAT is why it is an effective tool early on. You can talk to a 7 year old till you're blue in the face about why not to do X and they'll go and do it anyway, so spanking as a consequence often will get them to stop where reasoning won't because they just DON't understand. I don't use it beyond the maturity level that they understand reasoning, but in early years, it has been a Godsend! I also agree, having grown up in an abusive situation, that it should not be excessive or cruel or out of anger, I got a few too many of those as a child and it just breeds hatred toward the parent. I was bruised and bleeding, my kids have never experienced a beating.
