Just having the wherewithall to realize that He is responsible for the way things are going is getting you halfway there to figuring out what to do with it. Remember, sometimes the best way to take care of yourself and your situation is to be willing to give away more than you get. You never stop getting that way.Wannabefree said:Well...church was great. Our church has a meal every Wednesday night for fellowship so we went tonight, didn't eat, but went to visit. We had a great time with everyone. I have more scrap to haul off now. One of the elder gentlemen asked about how work was going and I mentioned what we had been doing and he offered me two truck loads of items he needs out of his way God is just really pushing me into the scrap buisness lately I just wonder what we're supposed to do with all the extra money...extra money kinda makes me nervous. The way I look at it, it really isn't mine, it's His, and I want to be a good steward of what is given to me/us. I just need to do some more quiet time and listening. There are SO many needs in our community right now and I would LOVE the opportunity to help others, but haven't a clue where to start...or when really. I know we have to get stable and STAY stable, but really it IS a lot of excess money....it has just got me thinking about how we used to have money, and waste it...and how I REALLY would like to avoid that now. Anyway, that's what's on my mind...giving...serving..finance. Our picture is changing, and I am wondering what God wants, and I hope to not be such a dunce with His gifts He is giving. He has heard our prayers, obviously, and knows and is meeting our needs. Just trying to think of ways to bless others through those gifts. Today, in the store, makes me take a LOT less for granted. We aren't promised tomorrow, so I want to do right today. I'm just thinkin out loud ya'll
I will know how that feels in a few weeks. I got elected to go to the women's retreat thingy at church...dunno what to expect from it, because I have never had the money to go but....guess I'll find out I am nervous about my food allergy being an issue. THEY cook everything there...but i am afraid to eat someone else's cooking Paranoia sucksFarmerJamie said:Free hotel internet access rocks!

You've got the right attitude to figure it out to the best of your ability, which is the most important thing. God Bless!
