Guys, I just got a call from the mother of a young friend of mine who was pregnant. She was 16. She lost her baby. She was a few months along and had heard the baby's heartbeat and had settled on a name, was supposed to find out gender at next Dr. visit. Now she is struggling emotionally, knowing on the one hand this may have been for the best, but on the other hand, knowing that a life is gone. Please be in prayer for her. Her name is Jackie. Pray for her mom, and their family, they are taking this pretty hard, as is to be expected. She goes tomorrow for a DNC :hit God's will be done...maybe this young lady will turn her life around and give it to God. I hurt for her very much, she is a good kid, who simply made some bad choices, and is now suffering something I can not even imagine, the loss of a child...

:fl and :hugs for everyone touched by this. Having a spouse miscarry twice, I can relate, even as a guy.

Your welcome I KNOW you would do the same for me!

No problem....you're very welcome.
There's also fear (is there something wrong with my body) and self-guilt that plays into for some women, too. It may be a little different for this situation versus a married/family situation, but I would think the emotions, particularly where she was term-wise, could be the same.

I absolutely would james! :hugs

This girl was actually a friend of DD's that et her through me, because me and her mom were friends. She used to go to church with us frequently, just about every weekend. I got to be pretty close to her, and consider her a friend as well. She is very quiet and sweet...I hope she is okay. Bless her heart, this is just devastating to me, and I know it must be for them.

She is very frail, she has to drink Ensure, and her body was just not up to the task of feeding two. I was afraid for her when they found out she was "active" and expecting. It still hurts though.
