There's also fear (is there something wrong with my body) and self-guilt that plays into for some women, too. It may be a little different for this situation versus a married/family situation, but I would think the emotions, particularly where she was term-wise, could be the same.

She is very frail, she has to drink Ensure, and her body was just not up to the task of feeding two. I was afraid for her when they found out she was "active" and expecting. It still hurts though.

Do you remember me mentioning the "Practical Produce" cook book? It was put out by a family in WI in 1997 In the introduction they talk about a lot of things, including giving thanks to God. Bible verses are sprinkled throughout and the chapters are organized by produce item.

(Be back in a about 20 minutes or so, the eldest DD is frantically trying to complete a paper and needs the computer).

That seems vaguely familiar....maybe I should go look for that book. Do you have a copy? If so....Where didja get it? I pray over my garden and ground. I thought it was strange myself, but I am thankful for everything and never heard of anybody praying over their produce except me

I always figure, while you're on your knees anyways.....

Of course I have a copy. It's one of the two cookbooks I use during June, July and August, the other being the Ball Canning Book.

Now were did I get it? I don't remember It was one of the impulse buys, you know, where something ends up in your hands somehow.

thanks! But, I am the only one in the house who does "spicy". I have my Thai Chili Plants that I splurge on. I did order a spicy pepper combo seed pack, so I should be good...

If I am not mistaken these are just a specific strain of Cayenne from Tabasco Mexico, and are a bit hotter than other cayenne peppers. They are the ones responsible for the Tabasco brand pepper sauce. My kitchen is decorated in Tabasco brand stuff I actually got to go to Avery Island in South Louisiana where they make the stuff the year before Katrina hit down there. It was like Disney Land for me
