the only probelm with snakes in the "barn" is if they find an easier food source (ie find eggs in a chicken coop) they tend to not go aftr the rodents anymore...i mean why chase your lunch when a chicken will practivally deliver it to you lol
and snakes naturally eat only a few times a week tops so once they start nomming on yourchicken eggs, there pretty much useless as ratters unless you can completly block off acess to all eggs/chicks/ducklings ect.

i love snakes...dont love when they "gt lazy" though lol.

I love snakes as well. Used to have balls, but not anymore. Haven't really seen wild ones lately though.
I... Um... OH! Ball PYTHONS. *cough* I had to read that a few times before it sunk in.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...alrighty then. Weird fact for you all, crabs change sex several times in their lives. I never dreamed that would be on topic in this thread

Anywho...I gots a backache this morning. :( I have to make a trip to Lowe's for the neighbors, going to try to weedeat some, but this hurtiness is telling me that might not happen. I think I caught it from Pinky :p Maybe I can get some done anyway :hu we'll see. Not much of an update on things, but well...for once there really isn't much going on. I dunno how that happened, but I kinda like it ;)

Happy Friday everybody!!!!!!! :weee :weee :weee

Have I mentioned lately how blessed we are to have such TERRIFIC neighbors?! The "trip to Lowe's" was for us. I had no clue, but I was the driver  They bought DH a Paslode cordless cartridge framing nail gun, and got me a KitchenAide mixer with the noodle making attachments(online will be here next week) :th It's AWESOMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have needed DH to help out with repair work here and there, and he has, no problem, that's what neighbors are for..so they thought that gift would be great for him. I make their mayo, laundry soap, pizza crusts, ranch dressing, and keep them in eggs, so the KitchenAide was appropriate for me. I am now the noodlemaker too as soon as that bad boy comes in  :weee :weee :weee

The elder lady of the house, lost her dad several months back, and got her inheritance the other day from the sale of his estate, and wanted to do something nice for us. It is incredibly sweet, and she would NOT take no for an answer AT ALL! I love those people :love They are so good to us, and we all do everything for each other all the time, but I am STILL just astounded at such expensive and incredibly thoughtful gifts. They are truly a blessing :)

Needless to say my day has gone WAY better than I could have ever dreamed of :D :D :D I hope everyone else has had a great one as well :)

That is awesome!

Sounds like they put a lot of thought into the right gift for each of you, too.
