Our guineas have been doing good keeping up with the ticks in camp this year but once we get into the woods proper, we are tick food.

Gooooooooooooooooood morning :D I am about to cook a big breakfast and get going this morning. I was too tired and hot yesterday to unload the rest of the things from the truck so I have to do that this morning before church and feed the animals. After church I get my pig, and get the other pig and get him to my friend. So it'll be a flea market trip just as it's getting hot IN church clothes :/ I'm actually debating on skipping church, as I only have a few good church clothes to begin with and don't want to mess them up rearranging pigs. If things would have worked out the way they were SUPPOSED to...I would have had this done yesterday, but well...how often does that really happen around here? :hu Anyway, then I have to get my tail home and get the sow put up, and lunch done. After that I need to make a loaf of bread and quart of mayo for the neighbors and I'll be done. But for now, I have to figure out for sure what I am gonna do about church and the hogs :hu I hate to miss church, but DH and DD can go while I get things situated pig wise. I'm just glad we have tithe money truly  Maybe by next week we'll have the house payment. I have chicks hatching in a few days and they are presold, and I have possible/probable orders for more tomatoes from two folks at the flea market yesterday. Tomorrow I will go get more tomatoes, and Tuesday I plan on going and picking peas half the day to resell. So, I have my early week work cut out for me, and a wonky scheduling dilemma today. I'll have to think about it over bacon, eggs, biscuits, and pancakes :drool

Can you take pig clothes to church w/you and get changed in the bathroom there after church? I've done that plenty of times when I've needed to do something after church and didn't have the time to go home first.

assuming the "pig clothes" don't smell "piggie" already. :p

Back when I was younger, I sometimes went to church in my work clothes because my shift started 10 minutes after church finished.

I skipped. Then the stupid boy I was getting the pot belly from still didn't show when he was supposed to :rant Anyway I got a sow...a pot belly sow, the other had babies last night, and lost all five of them. So I got the pot belly girl that is pregnant. Not what I had anticipated, but I can still pull a profit if she has a successful litter. She's due any day. I got pics too :D I'm calling her Myrtle for now. :hu

(and at worse, pm meat makes good sausage...not as tastey on the "plain" cuts, but realy good ground as it tends to be more of a "dark meat chicken" texture (a little higher in fat ect...))
