I had to unload myself...those guys at the scrap place are SO lazy! :barnie All they would have had to do is get on the big crane and pick it out of the truck with the magnet....but do you think they had time...well they did, but they didn't unload it :/ It was just 750 pounds, but still. That was rude :smack

I sold about 200 pounds of tomatoes and made a little cash too. Of course i burned about $15 worth of fuel in the truck, but I am getting closer to the house payment anyway :hu I am so freakin TIRED though...I just want to take a nap. I need to weedeat and feed though, and I still need to plant some more stuff for the Fall crops. I need a cloning machine. This work crap is catching up to me :p

Careful what you wish for! Reminds me of that movie 'Duplicity' I think it was - where he cloned himself, then his clone cloned itself. :p

I could SO use a few more of me though! I'm tired, and it's hot, it'd be easier to send someone else out there, and I'm the only one who'll do it right the first time anyway :p

and that right there is the key...i say the same thing when people ask me with shock "your not married?" when they hear i raise livestock and stuff...
i always say yes..and then they ask "who builds things for you"
ME...because at least when I do it, i know it gets done! lol.
and if it doesnt, i only have myself to blame

That is what will be funny when we finally get on the farm... he'll be working the day job, and I'll be running the farm! I can't wait to learn about all sorts of things and get to build fun and creative things with my hands!

DH is pretty good about doing stuff around here...I was referring to that looney teenage female child of mine. She purposely messes crap up so I have to either redo it, or hover over her the whole time...and I'd rather just do it myself at that point. Hubster was busy cutting steel. DD usually does okay with the animals, but lately she has been a slacker. I don't trust her with the weedeater anyway..she'd find a way to cut her foot off. :p

Either way, it was too hot, and I put it off and shelled a bushel of peas instead inside under the AC. Tomorrow morning when it's 70 ish degrees I'll do the outdoor work I need to get to, and then catch up laundry the rest of the day, and catch up on my homemade goods that I have let go lately because I have been so busy. So, tomorrow I get a break(unwanted break :/ ) from hauling produce. I have about sold the farm out of tomatoes, so unless I can find another comparable source soon, I am done for a few weeks with that little moneymaker. I do have to pick peas sometime this week or next, but beyond that, the well has run pretty dry. I'll have to create another job :( I LIKE this job!!! **sigh**

Hi Jamester :frow

:th :th :th :th :th :th

I have been weedeating and burning logs and cleaning the yard aaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day and it is HOT! I'm about to jump in the shower and call it a day as far as the outside stuff goes and then finish laundry. I started one load already. I have a headache :( I did drink plenty of fluids, but weedeating a half acre really sucks and makes ya hot and sweaty no matter how cool it is outside. When i started it was 72...and now...it is SO not! I think it's 93 with a heat index of 99, or was last I checked. It was supposed to get hotter than that, but I am sure glad it didn't! DD and niecey helped this morning, and then they left me

I still have a ton of outside work to do but it'll wait till tomorrow. I gotta figure out what to cook for dinner and soak up some cool air :D
