WBF, I ain't got to do beans yet :/ The early ones dried up and the main ones seem slow as molasses. I hope to fill around 80 pints of corn soon....

Aflatoxin poisoning, particularly Aspergillosis would cause symptms like your describing in the ducks (weakness, gasping/choking ect), usually from mold spors on hay ect, they had any acess to hay or straw thats gotten wet? if theyve been in the pig pens mabe theyve been digging through damp bedding?

its the only thing other than botulism that makes sense and while botulism would also fit it would be unlikely from the mellon (More likely from long standing water and maggots on animal carcasses...and your property doesnt seem to have problems with long standin water, so unless theres a dead animal somewhere.?!)

as a side note, hows myrtle doing?! still baking those little bacon buns? lol

yeah my backyard thermostat read 101 (with a feels like of 110) today...my house is currently 80 (bedroom is 78)

We are adding about 2000 extra feet of growing space and I plan on growing Navy Beans, Pinto Beans and Jacobs Cattle. You need to pick them, they produce more if you pick them :D
