I'm not going on the retreat :/ I didn't make enough cash. The people at the scrap yard changed the rules and what SHOULD HAVE BEEN short steel only went as mixed 1 & 2 and was a lower price and I didn't have enough....soooooo I guess I have plenty of work to get done around here anyway. *sigh* I did manage to get bread and buns made today, seperated a bunch of scrap, hauled off that load, paid a bill or two, and made chicken quesadillas for dinner. I'm beat though. I still have to run a loaf of bread down to the neighbors and take them some money for gas and stuff too, and clean up my mess where we busted open all those receivers to get them scraped out.

Just got back from a horse clinic/cowboy church meeting and it was AMAZING! And I won a "door" prize I got an autographed cowboy bible They broke a Tennessee walker colt, and that horse was GORGEOUS solid black except for a white star and socks on her back feet. She was beautiful! Amazing, by the time the two hours was up, the guys daughter was riding her, and this horse had never had a saddle on, been lead much, and was barely halter broke. She was so sweet, at the end, they got her to lay down with all her gear still on, and she was so relaxed she fell asleep and started snoring It was so cool! I want to get back into riding. I had forgotten how much I love horses. They still make me nervous though

Anywho....I needed this, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got my head clear for a bit, and I *think* I may know where things are going, and clarity is wonderful

ive seen adds for "cowboy church" but no clue what its all about...
sounds cool though.

Id LOVE to start riding but without knowing someone with horses to teach me its a very expensive endevour! lol.

im glad in that time though some clarity came to light...horses in generla seem to have that effect overall.

WBF, most people don't know this-it's not something I generally tell people-but I used to be afraid of horses. In a way, it was kind of nuts. I loved them, loved to ride them, but was afraid to be on the ground around them. What cured that was spending time around them. And, while I'm no longer afraid of them, I do have a very healthy respect for what they can do. It keeps me on my toes when I'm around them, which in turn, helps keep me safe.

ETA: Pinky, I so wish you lived around here. I'd let you come over and mess w/Honey all you want in exchange for helping me out when I need it. And, WBF, if you lived around here, I know RU would let you ride on of the other horses that she has.
