Farm babe jarred up 19 pints of ketchup and it tastes really good. She was not happy her blender did not chop up the seeds but I think it'll be alright 👏

looks good to me! :)

about any food mill with a fine enough sieve would remove those.

the funny thing about the food mill we have and tomatoes is that the smallest sieve will remove the regular tomato seeds but cherry tomato seeds are small enough to get through.

@flowerbug well, I have no recipe at all,lol need to find it and so much going on is crazy time. Picked about 10 tomatoes a few minutes ago. However, it has been crazy. The duck house and run is finished. Just a few tweaks here and there. Hope my blink cameras work out there. Will install them tomorrow when I have time as well as the automatic door.

The a pre-fabricated coop I bought last year [worse 499 bucks ever] that I thought I could use as a henspital, it completely collapsed out of the cloudy blue sky.
Then, hub was going to move the shot gun and picked it up the wrong way, it slipped, releasing the manual lock and hitting the floor and shooting a hole on the wall. I was in the peeing in the bathroom and heard it and almost walked out with my pants halfway down. No fatality, thank God. Could had been horrible. He got mad, furious and cursed words were flying everywhere. I told him that it was OK, just to make sure to put his signature under it,lol. I know who is in charge of my house and my beloved ones, so He is in control. Could had been worse but my hub is more stubborn than a stubborn mule. So I told him to be thankful that God was watching over him or we could have been spending the rest of labor day at the ER. Thank you Almighty!

Edited to add more pictures.

Nice coop and containment, we have that exact same waterer. My wife figured out if you take 2 water bottles and make them salt water, close the top real well and put inside the waterer. The water doesn't freeze during the winter. Our chickens got unfrozen water all winter long. I think my wife added a bunch of table salt to the water bottles. But I can ask her if you want.

We float some gallon jugs in the big water troughs for the cattle... 1 cup salt to about 2/3 jug water so there is air and they float. Cows will play with them a little but it just helps to keep the troughs open and not freezing. What is her recipe for the salt water in bottles in the chicken waterer?

Yesterday I weeded around the fall Brussels and cabbages. Wife and daughter in law picked peppers and tomatoes. Then I watered the graden last night. Hope to till in-between the Brussels and Cabbages today and till the future strawberry and asparagus rows to inhibit weed growth as longs as I got the tiller out.

Once you have your asparagus rows going, it is not a good idea to till between the rows. It will cut off the spreading roots. Mine have roots that are spreading as far as 2' from the asparagus patch.

But how deep are those roots? Thinking of growing some next year and my tiller does not go deep unless I go over a few times. It's an electric one. Haven't use my new one yet which is gas powered. Those pickes look scary, lol

harvested the last of the wax beans yesterday. Also, harvested some winter squash, I have 3 pumpkins that are about ready too :)
I was wondering about pumpkins. They are usually ready for early to mid October the latest. I put a few seeds but nothing happened. Will go to GR and get 2 Hispanic ones and open one on top and just put dirt in it,lol it should sprout, I guess, lol

Did nothing today but getting the quackies back to the henmotel. Hub came home and painted the floor with oil base dark brown. It is almost dry but he will do anocoat tomorrow. I just did laundry and made sure there is feed so hub can be OK while I am gone until Saturday.
I will need prayers for this Friday. Going to a Christian concert in KY to take my grandchildren to their first concert. I just want them to see that Christians are not bored people on their knees missing out on life. We make life alive with joy and hope. However, I am 60 and I'm not really into rap genre, lol Hoping the Holy Spirit takes me and can jump and dance and enjoy it. I do not mind one or two but 4 hrs of rap is the only thing that scares me,lol.

Watered the garden but the sun was not my friend today, so no weeding.
