It's been so dry... I watered the grapes yesterday.

Arbor, you can see grass is green where I've been watering the vines, pretty crazy hu? :rolleyes: ole nasty hay round mulch was a good idea this year for sure.

So some have exceeded first year established already, others have not. I've decided to leave the grow tubes on over winter for those that haven't reached first year established. And remove the grow tubes for those that have reached first year established.

I told FB we are going to need mesh bags for grapes clusters next year. I'll order a couple differnt ones so she can pick the best one and use it for a patten to sew us up a bunch.

Also deer have nibbled a few leaves here and there but they haven't done anymore than that. If it weren't for the CD's hanging on baling twine, I'm pretty sure deer would have eaten them down to nubs already.
