When it is 104, you don't want anything near you that will retain heat. Just sayin'...

Plus like abi said...all that detergent...bad for the seals...or something....

We found a jacuzzi for free if we hauled it off. had great plans for it. ended up being a pool for a few years. worked great and the kids gotta kick out of the bubbler.

Loved the song. Thanks for the laugh. I read/sung it to hubby. he enjoyed it too.

I got my bike yesterday! YEAH!

Of course, assembly required :tongue

I did not know the girl's bike was purple and tan. The men's bike in the catalog was black and tan and looked really cool and retro. Not too thrilled about the purple, but it is a nice sturdy bike. As soon as I finish tightening all the bolts I will give it a spin.

ALSO...hubby bought me a car last night. It's a 94 Ford Explorer. So yeah, a gas hog. BUT...we have the golf for running around so one beast for hauling and a zippy car for running around will do us fine.

Since it is older it has reached the mechanically interesting phase, so we have to fix some locks, one window, and install a stereo. I also need to sew up a hole in the driver's seat. Not biggies. Especially when you consider that hubby got it for $1100.

WOW! great score on both points... the bike and the truck!

i loved my explorer ('99) - and it saved our lives, really. they dont make them on the truck body anymore so the new ones arent as good...but thats a keeper for sure. and wow did i haul a lot of farmy stuff in it. and i got about 20mpg which wasnt too bad. especially since i liked to drive kinda fast - ha ha!

when i had my big life i had a hot tub built in the deck. in the summer we'd keep it cool so we had a "pool" also. yay!!!

:)
