I am so tired I can't think straight. I have been here a few times today and thought I posted, but then come back to realize I didn't.
I drove 678 miles (about 10 1/2 hours) to Texas on Wednesday, helped with / attended my niece's wedding on Thursday then drove home starting at 445 Friday. Got home, picked up the dog from the vet and then went to my nephew's baseball game.

The chicks are doing great, I can pick out the first one to hatch, it seems so much bigger than the others. Hopefully it works out so I can keep the 3 I have picked - black one with a little beard, red one with EE racing stripes and buff one.

It stormed something awful here Wednesday. We had tornadoes (which we rarely have without hurricanes), hail, wind advisories, flash flood watches and crazy heavy rain - it started raining when I was dropping the dog off at the vet's and by the time I got home (2 miles) the water was to my ankles. Did I mention I drove to Texas on Wednesday? wow that was fun for the first hour or 2.

My potatoes and peas loved it though, they really sprang up some. I'll have to find time to get out and add another layer of compost to the potatoes tomorrow or Monday.

I need to find some energy too.... I'm headed to bed

Thanks, FF... I need a whole day off from work, family etc, I just can't get caught up! Yesterday I had an appt @ 11, then my youngest nephew had 2 baseball games out on the beach (about 20 min away) so I went to those. This morning church. This afternoon work. And tomorrow I HAVE to work in my garden, because I can tell I haven't been out there in a week!

I saw those babies, BBuff!!! CUTENESS
My 11 are already getting wing feathers. They are still crazy cute though. :)
