I have 2 broodies, however, they are both bantams...so together they equal one? :) I wish ya was closer Barred, I would give ya one! :)

Well maybe in the next 3 weeks you'll have another broody that will accept them rather than set their own eggs. ;) It'll work out :)

That would be ideal.......I may be able to keep her for some time though. He does have 14 dozen eggs lying around.

Yay for you! I hope she sets down soon for you.
I want a broody! I have 25 eggs in the bator and am afraid they will all hatch! ;) I'll candle them this weekend.

I figure she will. I have her in pet taxi temporarily with the 18 eggs, I have a spare building to put her in. She is in there but I wanna make sure she does the deed before I open the lid.

I sold her to him April last year. :he

But he loves em and Im getting some of them so CHA CHING.

They are from Mt healthy but dont act or look like hatchery stock. They are fat as mud, lay wonderfully, and this is the second broody. More like heritage types.

My Buffs were from Privetts (my feedstore ordered them). they are skinny and MEAN!
