We used to live in a house very similar to what Wannabefree described. Shadows, noises, things turned on, horses in the barn moved to different stalls and locked in, voices, you name it. At one point there was even a ball of light in the kitchen. My theory is that if something gives you a bad feeling EVER then pray right then. I was an adult with two kids and was scared half to death of that house escpecially after dark. I used to pray for the Lord to send me an angel to walk with me though the house and to stay with the children and to keep from us whatever was in the house. It always gave me a sence of security knowing an angel was watching over us and most of the time the sense of unease left immediately.

That was the first thing out of the bible I ever memorized when I was 10 :love I don't think I had ever been to church except for special services at that time :hu My parents thought it was weird I picked that one  I just picked it randomly, didn't have a real idea of what it meant, but I liked Psalms. It has served me well knowing that chapter by heart ;)

Ghosts won't hurt you, but they can be mischievious. Think of a 13 year old kid with an onery side. Just plainly state that this isn't their house anymore, and that they should go to the light and find peace. You might have to do it more than once, but it will work.

My husband never believed in ghosts until we bought this property. I sensed it, then we heard stories...and he started making wisecracks when we came out here to work. There was suddenly some really odd, unexplainable activity in the shop. He was so surprised (freaked out?) and his comments stopped. So did the weird things.

I'd say that a lot of it *could be* wood drying, etc. But it doesn't hurt to help send a spirit on. Then know in your heart that you have helped and are safe.

You have the option to go to your fathers house or not :) I decided at age 11 to no longer even SEE or speak to my father, but that was under terrible circumstances.

If you dislike him, go to lunch every now and then. If its staying in his house, go hang out for the day or after school.

Hello friends!

I have LOTS to report!

Today I let Buff and her chicks out and they went out and about foraging through the brush and such. All the hens seem to be getting along.

Tommorow we are going to TSC to pickup 15 cornish rock chicks. Hopefully all will go well with them. Im doing feed differently.

Out of a fairly large bucket Im putting a grinding's worth of ground corn, a grinding's worth of alfalfa pellets (to mimic free range), and feel the rest with 24% broiler feed.

Im also not using any meds with my chicks this year, no mareks vacc., no med water, or med feed.

I have a secret! SHHHH dont tell BYC! BUT Im not using wood chips and Im NOT using a red brooder bulb. Dont tell I'll get a whippin!

Thursday Im going on a big FFA trip to our Regional Convention to compete in Senior Parliamentary Procedure and Poultry Public Speaking and since I dont follow the books with my birds so Im bringing my FFA guide to chickens to aid me in the prepping of the speech. I hope I do well!
