El Presidente de Pollo
Considering I havent been here in two days. Massive updates have unfolded.
This past Friday was my last day of school.
HOWEVER this means I wont be on here a lot. I have lots going on. I have to go to my dads every other week. Then I have a week of FFA camp and State Convention which is back to back.
Here is one of my favoritie updates. In FFA you have 6 officers (they are not in name only they actually have to do it) which are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, and Sentinel. Well Thursday our Reporter resigned (she didnt do anything anyway) and I got her position!
So at camp I have to attend a Reporters Class and Im a delegate at state convention. And as reporter I have to keep a chapter scrap book which Im already started on and am sort of two monthes behind. Since she didnt start on it. I also have go to the high school periodically through the summer to help tend our garden, sell flowers, etc. We sold flowers this morning. It was hot! Anyway I am thrilled about this.
On a sadder note somebody hit one of our hens and killed her. We come out right as she was hit (before she had stiffened) and ummm it looks like it was intentional. She was hit right on the rear of the buttocks and her feathers were on one side of the road. AND the person who hit her was on the wrong side. So my mom and me payed a visit to the killer he told an entirely different story than my Granny. So yes I believe it was intentional. Its been a bad week for the animals 6 chickens and a duckling are dead. Anyhow Granny made a nice kettle of dumplings out of her
I also have new chickens. I traded 5 Dominique hens for 5 Buff hens last night. I LOVE EM!
And incase I dont get to update this week here is my line of events. Monday morning Im leaving to spend the day and night with dad. Then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I will be in Lexington with the Grandparents. They will getting me my supplies for my new office (camera card, flashdrive) and camp supplies (ball shorts, etc.). Then Thursday night I come back to Dads. Then Friday morning I have to report back to the school with the five other officers and we are planting the garden. Then Saturday the 6 of us and the Advisor are going to sell more flowers in a different city. Sunday night I come home. Then Monday I will be home. Then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I will be at State Convention in Lexington. Then it all starts again with FFA camp 3 days later.
Anyway Im looking forward to all of my FFA activies coming up...........
