I doubt you will have to worry about BarredBuff and friends either. We look terrible.

What little time I had free late this afternoon after cleaning the coops was to plant the flowers (!) that my lovely wife brought home. :p

The ground is like a wet sponge and more rain may come tonight.

Well the Buff is back on the Homestead! :woot

So much to report and say! I had so many suprises when I got home!

One of my buns had 9 babies :ep but one died :( and the others are hot and sweaty :( :( But I have faith in my big Deb that she'll take care of them she aint let me down yet. :D

Then my baby ducks are HUGE :ep I cant get over it............ I will have pictures tommorow. I was so busy watering them and checking them out then visiting the family whom I have missed over the last week.

Then I have another duck nesting so Im gonna let her set and then change her eggs for chicken eggs and give the chicks and the duck to a friend. This same friend is who I give rabbits too. And guess what!!! The dear person brought me a whole fried rabbit with fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy :drool BLESS HER! So my rabbits are no longer safe they tasted awesome!!! :D Then this Friday Im going to my cousins and we are going to process rabbits. So another skill is coming! Woo hoo!

The garden looks terrible. We have re set most of the tomatoes twice and only about 38 or so have made it. Maybe more. I didnt count them. BUT luckily I have a ton of plants still so no big loss. Then over row cover for the cabbage is ripping because its so flemsy :barnie But the Gran has a sturdier one in the basement. The two different corns look awesome :celebrate Then we will have a mess of peas for supper tommorow night :ya But the taters came up horribly I think maybe 20 or 25 plants. We set out 50 lbs but they were bad seed. BUT luckily we got a hold of some good seed taters and they planted them. So all is well there. Hopefully the garden will straighten up :fl

Then Tuesday at 8 in the morning I leave for Lexington with FFA and we are going to state convention. I hope I do good in that! I will have a computer with me so I will be in touch and let you know the happenings plus some pics maybe.

Well Im out of breatH!

Wow little brother....hope the garden picks up for you hun :hugs My tomatoes are experiencing a few issues as of late, but most of them look good. I think a couple got sunscald when DH and I watered too early in the afternoon one day :(

My broodies are going strong so far...this is just the first week though

I dug up a bin of my taters and got FIVE potatoes  I wanted the bin for other stuff though, so eh...whatever ;)

Have fun on the FFA trip!!! Be safe and report back to us ASAP :D I'm anxious to know how it all goes for you :)
