Yeah, you could root cellar them, but if you need extra space, now you have an alternative to root cellaring ;)

Why doesn't she like Welsh harlequins?
Thanks for the suggestion, I will keep that in mind. Me and Gran went out and sowed brocolli and cabbage plus a carrot patch :D

Not Welsh Harlequins just she dont like Ducks that much. However I do. But we SURE do not need more laying hens.

Were going to order 25 cornish crosses from Cackle and I can get an FFA discount. :D But I have to have ordered 30 birds. Ducks are sold out :( so that leaves chickens. What would you add to it? I was think either trying a new breed. Like Wyandottes. Any suggestions?

They Columbian Wyandottes that catch my eye. But I did some research last night and its 82$ for 25 CXs, and 5 Wyandottes with shipping. They still havent told me how much the discount is. But I dug a little more and found that I can get 25 broilers from Welp for 40$ including shipping. So if the FFA discount of an obscene amount then thats the direction I will take.

Wow...I'd go with Welp for sure! That FFA discount won't be 50% of the bill little buddy. Welp is the way to go. ;) Oh and you know what breed I'd say..Delaware :p

Well I didn't get anything done...too much grass in that other spot, gonna have to get a tiller out there. Where the tractor broke it up before is a huge rut, and I need the tiller to help level that off as well. Plus I got a HUGE blister right in the palm of me wittle hand  so I don't mind not getting it done today. Gonna do much needed house work instead, and DD has a Dr. appointment after lunch anyway, and I am dropping her off at her grands because I NEED a BREAK!!! :barnie
