all this talk about fried rabbit is making me hungry... hehehe haven't had rabbit in a few months... but I have a few that will be ready to butcher in a few weeks and can't wait! :drool but it has been a while since I processed any so I'll have to work myself back up to it again.. :hide

In a month Im going to butcher those two done at the hutches. May be earlier you can literally set back and watch them grow......

oh yeah I know! I have my daughter feed them some as a chore and if I go 2 days without checking on them then look in and wow they double in size! :gig

Yeah....

I would like to keep one of the two I have out at the hutch but I dont think its fair to kill one and leave one alive........or maybe it is. IDK

She pulled hair. And last night I dreamed she had two babies, Im hoping more for 6 or 8 but we will see.

-6 here I hope the buns are ok and warm... did she have them yet? I'm suiting up to go out and check on mine... I bred 2 of mine last week thinking the worst of the cold was over... :/

Gosh, how do you keep them from being frozen buns? Bring them inside? It never gets quite that cold here, we are lucky.
