I've been through something similar, except I was the kid and it was an uncle with some legal and financial hold on us.
It was awful stress on my dad.
I hope you find a solution soon and can stuff all the anxiety in a corner where it can be properly ignored!

Welcome back Sally. Hope you didn't trip over Merle's shorts when you came home. We made a mess, but tried to clean it up. It's hard to work when OFG keeps telling her crazy stories and we're stuffing bacon down our gullets. Sorry you missed all the fun. We were thinking of you all the time, though.
