That sounds lovely Sally! Sounds like a productive and tiring day!

You should have called me up and I would come over and help you move those timbers!

We let the ducks out for the first time today! It was like the tropics out today at 50 degrees!!! Whoo! I went out with my boots, jeans, and shirt and was fine for a while. How warm is it over there?

Hi all.

BBH, I got here after they made the mess. I had nothing to do with it. Glad they got it mostly cleaned up.

What's this silky thing sticking out from under this chair?

Dang, my chair's sticky. I think someone missed some marshmallow and chocolate.

Keep telling me that please OFG!!

This little bast*&^ is a picky eater to boot. I suppose I spoiled him from the get go by luring him into my back yard with dog food. He won't eat pig food or corn. I have even left him alone all day with the pig food/corn and nothing else. LORDY, he could have won an academy award for DRAMA! The neighbors were beginning to ask questions!

So now he gets hardboiled eggs, bananas, dog food and all the scraps from the kitchen. He still belly aches all day.

(Yes, he is getting enough b/c he is enormous now! I swear I wish he was slaughtering weight. So far he is at 120#s!! Is that too small? I don't know how long I can keep it up.)

you can do it baby!! really! and no he's way to small. and if he wont he will when he gets hungry enough. try and wet the food and see if that is more appealing. are you feeding him corn corn and more corn? (crushed or shelled is fine)

hee hee hee when some of our pigs were about 160lbs i called Bourbon Red, basically crying, and BEGGED him "to come and kill these stupid pigs."

so i feel your paint.. but nope.. hang in there.. its totally worth it.

not only did we have spectacular chops (and yes Free, with all that good fat!) i also made more 'tiny pies' and made the crust with the lard....and i had a HUGE soup bone that i cut up and divided between the dogs.

but wait there's more!

when we got home from church we had... bacon and egg sandwiches... it was a great pork day....

Sweeten him up, don't let him wallow in his own waste. Butcher him soon.
