I feed a seed mix and add in ground cuttle bone to yogurt for calcium. My birds rarely touch their pellets and are shiny, healthy and lay everyday!! I totally recommend it. Otherwise I'd be paying $30/ bag every couple weeks.

Please don't tell me I'm dreaming!

This morning I saw a small flock of robins in my yard hopping around in the area where snow melted yesterday. Got to work and my boss said she was sure she had seen a robin this morning.

Even if they are just passing through on migration, I welcome the promise of spring they bring. :weee :weee :weee :weee :weee

Still healing from my icy fall, PMSing, and feeling sinusy, and I'd rather be in bed today. So those robins are a real blessing. :)

It's probably different where you guys live, but for my area - the robins never left :hide I have seen them all winter.

x2 here. They look quite stunning against the ice capped snow-lawns.

Truly? Where do they get bugs and worms at your house? :) They aren't seed lovers like the multiple other birds at my feeders. I usually don't see a Robin until March. Now, meal worms might keep them around. ;)
