Wonderful pics Bee. I can't do cartwheels and I ain't even 60 yet. Thumbs up to the Old Bat. (Of course I could not do cartwheels correctly when I was 10 either). Are those eggs laying next to your son and the Old Bat from her chickens or yours?

Those are eggs from my chickens....Mom no longer raises chickens, as they have been vegan for the past 15 years or so. She doesn't live near me and only gets to come for a visit on occasion. She is one of my best friends and I learned most of what I know about SS from her.

She is almost 5ft tall and has gutted and processed hundreds of deer and livestock, still goes turkey hunting each spring and has won the Biggest Turkey contest several times. She raised 9 kids and helped to raise 18 grandkids at one time or another. I could write a book about just this woman alone......she is a pillar of strength in many ways.

You could move here, Dace.......... Plenty of places for sale and cheap property taxes. Mild weather....never too hot or cold....no humidity, not much snow. Low crime rate, nice school...... and, of course......ME!

Great pics, Bee! I'm sure you cherish them.

I lost my mom 12 years ago to cancer. We were not close-close, but I always loved and respected her. But, if she were still alive today, I think we easily would be best friends.
