I'm from Virginia and when I talk everyone thinks I'm from way further south....my mama has a thick accent. When I was in college I would lose it and then talk to her on the phone and everyone could tell who I had been talking to when I got off cause my accent came back!

I don't think I have a southern accent but, of course, Yankees think I do, so I will go with that one. When I talk to men I like, the southern comes out just a little.......I can just sliiiiiiiiiiide on into it, if ya know what I mean?



You guys would get a kick out of this.....I haven't been out to commune with the herd this morning but, no matter, they are all staring into my back door as I am typing this. The Bettys and Hitch are all waiting for their Mama to come out to play......its so sweet! (trying to pretend that its from affection instead of wanting treats from Mama)


Well, news flash, folks. It would take much too long to tell you all the things that have happened during the night, but I will tell you that the ball has been set rolling this morning and today we will know if Dad will be obtained and held for a mental hygiene evaluation or if he will not.

We were going to wait and get everything ready....if one can do such a thing. :/ But last night kind of spring boarded things towards having to do what we've been putting off.

Mom is fine but very stressed and tired. Please keep her and my father in your prayers today so that this can happen as softly and gently as possible.

I'll let you know on Sunday what has happened, as we still expect to get together this weekend at a place of peace and rest, regardless of the outcome of today's events.
