Tears running down my cheeks Bee. Our God is indeed powerful :bow .

It always amazes me exactly HOW MUCH he loves us and cares for us. He even takes care of the tiniest details. All in HIS time and in HIS plan.

Even your little remodel idea was just to be getting things ready for your mama to have a cozy place to live! It is not over yet, that is true... BUT we know WHO is in charge of it! Things are going to be alright now and better than your mama ever thought possible! :hugs one for you :hugs and one for "the old bat" :)

I am so glad Bee! That is awesome. Free at last!

Sounds like it was perfect timing for her liberation.

But.. if he seems to improve on the medicine, they won't release him, will they?
They may, BB. Once they get him diagnosed and get his meds at a therapeutic level, they will determine if he is in need of 24 hour care. Then they ask Mom if she is able to provide this, at which time she is going to tell them that she cannot. Her health has been so affected by all this stress, that we feel that she cannot go on doing this. Plus, we have been through this last year and Dad came home, refused to take the meds and that was the end of his "therapy". We cannot trust that again, so we will be placing him in a facility that has an ALZ wing where he will get the care he needs.

Either way it goes, the woman is going to be free of that kind of life. She will have bad days. We know this. You don't have a relationship for 57 years and not have grief over it ending in this manner. But then, she has been grieving for many years now as she has watched the man she knew turn into a stranger.

She already has a job here, if she wants it! :D The local dance studio said they really want her to consider teaching a line dance class. She says she will probably do so once life settles down into a more normal flow and she is settled in. She is trying to remain upbeat and positive, trying to plan for a new way of living.

When I prayed for a tiller, I didn't know it would result in all this and Mom bringing her Troy-Bilt along for the ride when she moves in with me! :p

Thank you, Farm....I'll pass that hug right along to the Bat! :D Did you know that I even designed her return address labels with little bats on them? She proudly uses them.......... :gig

Well God DOES work in mysterious ways!

I think the job will be just the ticket. It will be great to give her something to stay active and have some fun while doing it.

She will be so valuable to you as well, now that the boys are growing up. Someone around that already knows how to tend those Bettys and pull a weed. You really are getting blessed.

Since she has ALREADY tried the "medication at home route" I don't think that will even be questioned. What will be happening to their homestead? Do they have animals to be concerned with?

Soooooooo happy for you Bee! :hugs :love

I'm glad everything worked out the way it did....maybe once your mom gets away from it all she can begin to relax and regain some control of her life.

Well, the neighbors huge cattle busted down the fence and came thundering through my place right at dark last night! :barnie They bolted over my garden and fences like they didn't exist. It was kind of fun to watch but also very intense, imagining them getting tangled up in the wire and how in the world would we free them?

The neighbors came over and were very nasty about it all, blamed me for the whole thing because my hay stack is near the fence and it was tempting their rolly-polly steers.

No sorries were said and no mention of feeling remorse about the garden. Soooooooo glad I didn't take them up on their offer to attend their church! :p

They did repair the fence this morning, but I think it was more so that their cows wouldn't get out anymore than for my benefit.

Thank God these neighbors live over the mountain from me and not right next door! :D I don't think I could stand all the neighborly, christian love they would send my way...... :gig

I hope they did not do significant damage to your crops.

At least they did fix the fence. Did they damage your hay stack?

Nice...how much damage to the garden?

How on earth did you shoo them all out of your garden and back on to their own property?

The garden isn't for shucks this year anyway, so I wasn't real heartbroken. They have been eating my hay for some time, but I don't stress about it....it doesn't do any good, really. God will provide all these things to me!

They had some family members come over, cussing and griping, and shooed them towards a gate. Practically accused us of chasing their cattle and was real vocal about telling us the proper way to move cattle.

As we weren't chasing their chubby freight trains at all, I just let it all roll off my back, as I am aware of the calibre of mentality of which we were dealing. These folk's family trees don't really fork....actually, they resemble a utility pole....but its not really their fault they are like that, so I don't sweat it! :p

It was some kind of rodeo for awhile, though, and a funny story to tell to the boys at boot camp! These enormously fat steers bucking, kicking their feet and jumping fences was a funny thing to see! First time they encountered an electric fence......... :gig
