Well, I'm off to see the wizard...

Going to pick up youngest prodigal son and travel on to see my mother and, eventually, my dad. Going school shopping, produce shopping(since the garden is a bust) in OH, and to breath all the polluted air and thick humidity of the lowlands...... GAG!

You all keep me informed of all the funnies and the good stuff on here so I won't miss anything! Will be back on Tues!

ETA: Found out yesterday that Dad will be in the mental facility for 6 months....guess they found something interesting to study there..... He is doing fine and has already staged his first escape attempt....made it all the way to the top of the chain link fence before they made him come down. :/ Other than that, he says he is getting used to it and seems to be very cheerful when we call him and when they visit him. Go figure!

Sounds like things are going well for you Bee.

I talked to my hubby and he wants to get rid of all the stuff in the house. I cleaned out lots of the kid's stuff and some furniture and took it to a thrift shop and now he says that he doesn't want a big ol house anymore that he's happy with our little house.

I hate that people are so focused on "stuff" nowadays. I don't want my kids to be spoiled little brats, even though my grandparents and parents are trying their best otherwise. We are trying to live more simply and trying to enjoy things as they come. Its sad that people are so focused on getting stuff that they can't even enjoy it when they do get it.

Happy and sad about Blossom and Shade. Glad they went to a good home though, and you made some money to boot!

Have a good trip and hope everything is good with your mom and dad.

Back from the wars and will tell you guys all about it tomorrow. Got to go to the greatest little farmer's market in Athens, OH, where my mother finally got to see why I want to have a roadside stand and sell a variety of things.

She is now very on board with my ideas and will be helping me to get it all set up. She is very motivated, after seeing how those people presented their wares and how much they charged for homegrown veggies.

Baby boy is back and very much the motivated young man....so neat to see them grow up right before your eyes, isn't it? Love, love, love it!

Got a new camera and will be taking some pics tomorrow of how big the sheep have become and all.

Will also tell you about how I almost got sucked into the shopping vortex and the material monsters that lurk therein!
