Hi Bee,

I too am sending some hugs your way. I think about your situation all the time and wonder (I too have a sister that I could ) why can't we all just work together for the interest of our parents?

We are all wracking our brains as to "why?" these kids would do this.....what is the motive? The folks' don't really have anything of monetary worth and these children have plenty of money. They have never liked Dad, hated him, actually and spent many years telling everyone about it.

Other than hurting Mom with this action, we can't imagine WHY anyone would go to these lengths, pay court costs, research all the assets of my parents and proceed to petition for guardianship of this man.

Then we sit and ponder how anyone, any THREE people could have so much collective hate that they would actually do something like this and think they could win? And why do they hate their mother so badly? We were all raised in the same household and there are no secrets when there are nine children.....when did they ever get hurt enough to warrant this extreme venom? The truth? Never.

The only conclusion we have found? They are insane. Truly. The apple didn't fall far from the tree and they are truly their father's children.

I had the best mom in the world....still do. Nobody could compare and the other kids agree..... so what in the world happened to those three?

Life is never really simple, is it?

With my evil sister, she really is out of it too. It is like she remembers a completely different childhood than I do... She really believes herself too.

It is very common for these types to "hate" the nicest members of their family b/c they make them look bad and feel guilty. I am convinced that my sister has severe mental problems.

This describes my siblings to a T, BBH! Sad and almost comforting to know that it's not just our family that has this phenomenon.

I'd really like to discover what makes folks this way~other than Satan~so that it maybe could be fixed. It sounds like it's pretty widespread.

Even when she was on anti depressants, she was evil. NO cure IMO. And the thing about her is she is so smart, got a Russian degree with a minor in Government back in the 80's at a one of the best two universities in TX... What a waste of brain cells. She stayed at home as a housewife making her children miserable until her husband finally left her for an OLDER woman!!! He even took the children! I was so happy they got away from her wrath.

Evil relatives. They are enough to drive you bonkers, just from sheer confusion over why they would do such a thing.
My aunt burned my dad's graduation pictures, all but one, refused to let us see my grandmother (who had ALZ) rewrapped presents Grandma had wrapped for me to give them to her kids and pawned all my grandmothers jewelry and tried to pawn my dad's heirloom guns. Then she got power-of-attorney and "sold" all grandma's land to herself & her hubby.

Vengence is mine, sayeth the Lord, though. Auntie-dear has found herself in a heap of trouble by forging grandma's name on the power-of-attorney AND on her will (both were "signed" by grandma AFTER she was diagnosed with ALZ, thus she was not sound of mind, nor was the signature even hers). There was no clear title on the land, since it legally belonged to grandma, my dad & aunt, jointly. The logging company that clear-cut the land is being sued by the state for not checking the title and in turn is suing her for misrepresentation & falsifying official documents.

Severe mental problems indeed...
