Bless her heart, I'm glad she got a good night's rest.

Isn't she a bit young to be coming into heat? Anyway, the Bettys are heating up and are wagging their tails in front of her and standing for her and then....WHAM!....down comes her heavy weight on their backs and they almost hit the ground.

My old next door neighbor had a potbelly pig. She was raising it in the backyard. Doubt it was legal but I just laughed about it and fed the compost pile some of it's "recycled food". It escaped often. I guess hunters got it eventually. Make your fences Strong so you don't pay to feed some strangers family.Beekissed said:Saw an ad in the locals about a mini-potbellied pig for $25.....got to thinking.....
I had read an article once about a small homesteading venture that was using potbellies due to their size. Said they were easy to process on the homestead, easy to work with, prolifent breeders and great to work with.
Anyone here ever use a potbellied pig for their intended purpose? Food?![]()
We have maybe 2 inches so far,...It is a wet, heavy snow. It is so pretty! I hope you are getting some of this too.
