You said it sister. There are many missions right here at home. I'll be praying for the family. They are lucky to have you on duty! :hugs

I'll tell you this, Farm. I am the lucky one to have met this family! Every day God blesses me with just one more glimpse into His heart and the mystery of His love. This family showed me once again how ignorant and prideful I am....and for this I am humbled and grateful.

And the flip side of the coin....today I read the most horrific story in the newspaper that I have ever read. It was about a Philadelphia doctor running an abortion clinic who was arrested for the atrocities committed there.

I don't wish to go into it as it makes me physically ill to recount it.....suffice to say that I can't stop praying that Jesus would come back swiftly to relieve the world of this evil. :( Everytime I read something like this I can't even wrap my mind around there being people in the world that evil. I don't have the capacity to understand, nor can I imagine, anything that horrific being committed by one human being upon another....particular little babies.

In the single digits for the past few nights here...the stars are gorgeous on these bitter cold nights.

Ate one of Fat's legs this evening....he is one tasty lamb! :drool The only other time I've tasted lamb it was far different than this...strong and very fatty, greasy. This was more like very tasty beef/venison, though I can't imagine what all the hype is about...why in the world is this such an expensive item in the stores? It was great, don't get me wrong...but so is venison and beef and I wouldn't pay that much for it!

Go figure! :p

It is all about supply and demand Bee.

In the UK, Eastern Europe, and Australia folks are lamb eaters and meat is quite reasonable sometimes cheaper than beef or pork. In the US folks just don't eat it (bad cowboy rap I guess ? ) so far less is raised and prices are way up.

Goat meat is the same way. Only recently has there been any American market for it, but in other countries it is a staple.
