Awww! I can't free range them here either...maybe sneek them out with me during the day when all the neighbors are at work...as long as they stay close:) And definitely can't have a roo, which really is half the fun for me! I haven't yet decided if I am really going to get them or not...but I have been really thinking about it lately. Ordered organic seed today for my gardens in the spring...ohhhh, can't wait to start gardening!
Oh I DO learn alot on the quilting forum...LOL! Not so much about what I do specifically, but about different stitches and about keeping your machine running well and troubleshooting problems:)

Oh that unrest is going to catch on all over the middle east...and then we are in soooo much trouble. Gas prices are already going up because of it...and will go up ALOT higher if there is risk getting over there to get it.
This very well could be the beginning of some BIG life changes on this side of the pond as well as over there.

Wars and rumors of wars.....check!

I guess I didn't know a whole lot about Egypt but was shocked to read they were standing in bread lines over there for government bread. Read an article that said they only made $2 a day working and that the gov't bread was free so people stood in line for it. Some kind of flat bread, like pita bread.

How sad is that? Reminds one of Germany and Russia back in the day....or maybe they are still like that? I don't know.

The problem with silkies is that they don't lay...:( I really need some laying hens with the way the world is going right now...heck by the time spring comes my neighbors might be BEGGING for me to get them some eggs...it is getting scary right now
