BB, do you need some medicated feed?
Nope! Im organic.

I really think the meds in the feed cause it. Because my cousin has his chickens in a muddy run and he NEVER feeds medicated feed.

I was bein' sarcastic..... :p I think medicated feeds are the worst thing to feed to chicks also, no matter what your climate. Warm and moist? Likely you have coccidia in your soils in your run? Expose your chicks early and often, preferably have them raised by a broody. They will get a good exposure to her feces right in the brooder.

Hey Bee :frow

I was looking back in your journal trying to find the name of the book that you mentioned about heaven. My small group is looking for a new book :)
Can you tell me the name and author?

Dace, that book is In Light of Eternity by Randy Alcorn.

Another book to look for and read umpteen times is What In The World Is Going On? by Dr. David Jeremiah. That has been the single most informative book on end times that I have ever read and really opened my eyes to what is really going on in the middle east.

Those two books have been my constant companions lately and no matter how many times I read them, I find something I missed that I was glad I found. Both are small books that are easy to read.

Another subject I have found enlightening that I never studied before....books on angels. I loaned out a good one and I still have one by Billy Graham that is very informative. I thought, since I will be meeting them soon, I should at least try to know a little about them.

I'll have to look up more of his books...I've thoroughly enjoyed this one. I never really liked reading about statistics, dates, politics, world events....but this book was simple to read and understand and explained so much.

Well shoot, now I am not finding the book I wanted from David J. I keep hearing about it on the radio, but it appears what I have been hearing about is just an audio cd....not a book.

Off to see of I can find your book about Heaven!

Just dropping in to say hi Bee! Glad to hear your sons have themselves a great place to live...sounds like my kind of place...(dreaming of cabins and streams)
I am thinking of getting some backyard chickens in the spring :) I so miss having company when I am out in the yard gardening...and fresh eggs...Oh I so miss those! I did build a coop...have to add a fenced yard...we'll see!
I did get birds for inside...two pairs of parrotlets...they are cute...but don't lay me eggs everyday...LOL!
Well hopefully I will be around a little more often...have been hanging out at a quilting forum lately learning all kinds of neat things.
Didn't read that far back in your journal...have the grandbaby today...she sure is a busy girl... a very good girl, but busy! Hope everything is good...will try to catch up more soon!

I can't imagine you have much to learn in a quilting forum, Morel! Your quilts are works of art and should be displayed as such! :)

So good to hear from you....after all, this IS your guest house that I borrow now and again! :p :D

I wished we lived closer, I need a good home for my flock. I think the farmer that has my sheep wants them but they need to make a place for them so their GPs won't kill them. This means the end of their free range life...which I hate for them. :(
