I got my first taste of these CX that I raised and I must say I am greatly impressed and can't say enough about the flavor and the texture!!!!
SO much different than storebought, I can't even describe the difference...one would have to taste for yourself. So rich and flavorful, firm but tender texture...... LOVE this chicken!!!!!
My father is finally getting to be transferred to a nursing home...he has been stuck in a mental hospital for over a year because of my sibling's interference with his care and my parent's lives.
He will finally be given the proper medical care in a setting that doesn't evoke his violent tendencies and he can finally get to be with my mother in a more normal, but safe, environment.
We are so thanking God right now!
Also....Mom will be restored to her rightful income. My sister has been withholding spousal support from my mom, which is due her from Dad's social security. The best part? My sister will have to write a check out to my mother each month....it will surely stick in her craw to have to do so. Oh, the ironies of life.....
I am so happy for her! Now she can get back to caring for Dad like she used to...it has been driving her crazy that he is so unkempt and ill cared for in the mental hospital, but she has had no control over that.
Thank you, Lord, for miracles like this day!
Also....my sons have found a house to rent and are moving out to live on their own next week! I'm so happy that they are finally starting their lives....I had started to worry for them that they would never have a plan and get motivated.
They found a really nice house and will be sharing rent while they go to school...the house is closer to their jobs. The oldest got into the nursing program at our local school and will be starting classes in August. Later on he plans to pursue a physical therapy degree while he is working as an RN.
I am starting to feel like all my hard work has finally paid off.... it feels good!
We are all taking a little trip next week to go fishing, visit with family and help Dad settle into his new home. I can't wait!!!
, Good for you, your sons and the Old bat. I can't believe it's been a year already. Your father will be in such a much better place. Congrats to all of you.
Praise God for all of His blessings and good care.
I am so happy for the Bat and for you too.
Also
It feels good when your kids start making those big strides into adulthood.
The best thing about that is how smart you will become with in a very short time. My kids still come over or call quite often to tap my (new found in their eyes) wisdom. It still cracks me up to see my sloppy old D1 asking people to remove their shoes so they don't track up the house or hear my GEEK son complain about the cost of toilet paper!
