Wow, you have had a lot going on Bee!
I have had so little time to be on the computer, I just finally got around to catching up on your journal.

I am sooo sorry about the baby! Lots of prayers coming your way from me.

Sounds like you are doing some major soul searching and changing. Change is hard, but sometimes it really needs to be done. Sounds like you are looking forward to your changes. I know your book will be just fantastic. I think you have entered a new phase in your life ;)

Me too, Denise, but it sure is a weird one. I can't remember a day that I didn't lie down at night with a plan or dream of some project or other....and now I don't have a single one. I've tried. There are none in there. :(

I'm wondering if God is clearing my schedule for this book or I'm just going through a midlife slump. I'm hoping its the former! :p

Bee, its been a while since I have visited your guest house. Sorry about Max. Thats so terribly sad.

I am excited about you finally writing the book. It will be a best seller for sure.

I will be watching for that blog link. That will be fun to read.

Thank you, 2Dream! :)

I was told by my preacher that I must now be still and wait...... :p I'm to wait upon direction from the Lord and I am definitely open to any suggestions that will facilitate my actually being able to make sense of all the jumbled up stuff in my brain case.

I pray that the Lord does indeed bless this book effort and I hope it actually helps someone.

Thank you, Farm...you are a dear friend, you know that? :)

Being still and waiting is something I've never really developed nor got the hang of....I'm sort of a planner, dreamer, doer....not much good at waiting nor sitting still unless I'm reading a good book! :p

Thanks Bee. I feel the same way about you. :)

Perhaps you have solved your own problem. You just need to spend some time reading "THE" Good Book! ;)

Bee, a few year ago I read a book about a woman's passage into the next phase. I think it was called "Crossing to Avalon" or someting like that. It was very spiritual and enlightening. You might enjoy it.

We all go through phases in our lives. In pagan/wiccan religion it is very much acknowledged, honored and celebrated.
But you do not have to be pagan to realize, understand and accept that we go through these phases in order to benefit from this "knowing".

We accept that young women go from maidenhood to motherhood, but our society is loathe to accept that women go from mother hood to another productive phase, that of the crone, the old woman, the woman who is wise and knowing. This passage takes time. It is a hard pill to swallow for those of us going through it. I think it is a time similar to adolescence, but with more maturity :p and it may take more years to go through it. I also think that there is a time of limbo, between being 'mother whose children have left' and being an 'old woman'. We still feel full of life and want to do stuff, but we are redefining ourselves, so we don't know exactly what the "stuff" is that we want to do. We remember what we always wanted to do and realize that maybe our wants have changed. Now we have to come to terms with that. I think this is in preparation for us becoming true crones: wise old women.

Among my friends we honor the Goddess in every religion. And I have found that many of the traditional churches are paying more respect to the female aspect of their religion.

You are a strong woman and faith will bring you through this phase.
It is just a normal growing phase of womanhood. I honor and respect you. And send you hugs and loves, 'coz we all need support at this time in our lives.

Well....I've got my second wind and am feeling more happy. Soooooooo glad to have found my joy, it has gone missing for most of the summer!

I am prepared to wait upon the Lord and am gaining some acceptance and understanding. Thank the good Lord! :bow

I feel so much better! I was even contemplating asking the doc for some interim drugs to get me out of this slump...but I don't feel the need to do so now.

Attended the wedding of a nephew this weekend and it was beautifully done, elegant and classy. We all had great fun and it was wonderful to get the family together in one place, dress up and dance! The food was out of this world and due to a messed up reservation, we got bumped up to the Concierge floors and a better suite.....lifestyles of the rich and famous! :D Great room!

The Bat looked simply elegant in a tea length black velour sheath dress...she has such a great figure! She danced the electric slide and a few other dances right along side the younger crowd and got a standing ovation. She also danced with her grandsons and it was sweet.

One fellow asked if she were Italian, as the black dress was so svelte and the black necklace she wore with it was so very beautiful~she just had an exotic look about her. I applied press on nails and beautiful polish and her hands were lovely. She has such good posture and great legs that she looked many years younger than she is.

I did the make-up, hair and nails of all the groom's family and it was great fun! I simply LOVE playing dress up~when its on other people.... :D Guess I never grew out of the Barbie phase.....

I hadn't had finger nail polish on my nails for many a long year.... :p

I had such fun and even got a few funny "lap dances" (silly boys!) from some of the groomsmen! :ep

Funny thing....I've had what we think is whooping cough for well over a month and it disappeared this weekend.... :)

Write that down.....fun and a few lap dances = cough remedy.
