Ack. Too hot. My pale cold skin might melt off.

Enough people are in Ohio.. We could take over a corn field (take that Monsanto) and set up camp there. Wasn't QA gonna do that? Did she cancel?

I think so....wish I had a nice, big place. I'd invite everyone down and buy a pig to roast. We stay up all night under the stars and talk the sun up! We would solve all the world's problems and have the national debt under control.

Tawanda!!!! :woot

Bee, I am so sorry about Lucy. Your people and animal family cared so well for her. :hugs

ok, ok you don't have to rent me the bat. But maybe I will just come visit her for a while. ;)

I hope wherever I end up in this world I have friends like you guys to visit with.

To be honest I know nothing about it. I will have to do some reading. I think the furthest east we will go is Mo. But that's a lot closer than I am now.

And when I move the SS party will be at my place. There will be 1 requirement though........

You all have to bring me an animal!!! :weee

;)

I was searching online and found a nice 40 acre parcel priced at 30k..
Up north in the deep trees, I reckon about 30-40 miles from the Canada border.
There was a very long minimum entrance road leading to the property, a creek running through the side, as well as a large pond on the property. The entire area was dappled with spruce, fir, and aspen trees... :love
I need to get a job!

$ 30,000 is not much for a property like that. Check where any flooding would run when rain or snow melt swells the creek. You need to be careful about what is downstream of surface water. It is great to have it, as long as the house isn't in a flood path.

I'd love to find something like that, but I'd need to move out of South Jersey. Here it's mainly oaks, "Jersey" pines, and red maples. And, our streams all look like iced tea because of the cedar swamps. I've been asked b4 by people not from the area if the water is polluted. :/

Some of our most beautiful streams in the next county look like root beer from the tannic acid in the water from firs and pines. When I was young I used to imagine the water tasted just like root beer! :D
