Even tho I don't know you, I feel your pain. I'm sorry about the life change, but there is probably something good just waiting for you at your new place.

Haven't updated in a while, but I've lurked a lot. Long story short I haven't moved yet, but will be soon. I'm now feeling very bad about myself. I don't want to stay married and miserable, but I don't want to leave either. He basically feels the same way, he said he doesn't want to be married, but is afraid of the chance of regret once we divorce.

I know the minute I move, he will go where ever the wind takes him and our house will be forclosed on, and my credit ruined.

I guess I just need to know that this happens to people, it is not the end of the world, and I will recover.

Even knowing that I am leaving I planted a fall garden, well part of it for now. Some cukes, green beans, broccolli and some more potatoes. I got a really late start in the spring, so this seasons garden didn't do too hot. I'm pretty bummed that I won't be here to see the "fruits of my labor".

I didn't read your June post about leaving...my computer was dead then and I was just skimming quickly here on ss. But going back and reading it and today's post, I see someone who does not want to leave. It looks to me (knowing next to NOTHING, btw, about you or him!) that your deep instincts are telling you to stay and fix things. You planted a garden!

Counselling may help. Also, men are simple creatures. Give them a cookie and all past wrongs are forgiven. Often, if we women act like we are in an ideal marriage, our men respond and become ideal husbands. It takes time, but can be doable.

Again, I say this based on a few sentences posted on the internet. But that is what I saw in those sentences....love, deep down.

I take all this back (delete-delete-delete!) if there is any physical abuse, cheating, or drug/alchohol abuse.

:hugs
