How nice she already has a name from the Bible! That is a beautiful one too.

Ruth would be good I think. Ruth adopted a Jewish life and gave her pagan heritage away.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
Sorry dont mean to be pushy!!
I have always LOVED that story.

Katie is a fine name. My favorite sister is named Katie (everyday use).

There is a song to go with it too......
I use to sing it to my sis when she was a baby.

I stopped nursing our youngest at 6 months, then two months later finally figured out that he was allergic to formula AND soy. Agh. I finally used raw goats milk and he didn't have a problem from then on, but he was a bit older, too.

I also never heard of induced lactation. I had a little hand squeezed breast pump, but rarely had to use it. I'm betting that as 'motherly' as you're feeling, the baby will help bring it on, too.

BB, my sil used breast pumps with her little ones. They were all premature and had tiny mouths. So things just were not proportionate. :D I used a pump for a bit but was blessed with ample milk and children who loved to nurse. Anyways, the hospitals use a pump that is on a little stand with wheels. My sis rented one and took it home. They are sooooo mush stronger and work so much better than the Medella or Playtex. Not sure what type of medical supply is in your area but perhaps you could go that route. Rent for a couple months and then when you supply is up give it back. :hu

Oh, it must be so hard not to hear from them for this long :hugs

And I did think it was about an adoption. I will continue to pray for you. I think you will make great parents.
I'll keep crossing the chicken's fingers and toes and those of the goats too ;)
