They have fully sedated her. Completely unresponsive.
My dad is getting on the road about now, so I will wait to see what he says when he gets there in the morning.
Its about 11 hours of steady driving.

Do pray for him. He is on the liver transplant list and is doing ok, but he is delicate :)

Most people who are completely unresponsive can still hear. I kid you not. I definitely would call and have someone hold the phone to her ear while you sing. There are a great many people out there who have woken up from these kinds of states and told everyone that they knew EVERYTHING that was going on around them but could not respond.

And you can also sing at her funeral. Ever hear of skype.com? It is a free teleconferencing thingy that allows you to see and talk real time. I use it to keep in touch with my family. All you need is someone to bring a laptop to the funeral service.
Praying for your grandmother and dad...and you hugs

I agree! With technology today, you can still sing at her funeral while not being there. You just need someone good with that kind of thing to help on both ends, it would not be that hard to arrange. At the least, a tape of your singing could be played even if you are not singing live.

I shall pray that her funeral is postponed however, if that is God's will.

Paula, I am SO very sorry. You have been on a rollercoaster of really high highs and dismal lows. I am so glad you are back in good health. Being healthy makes such a difference when emotional news hits. I'm praying for you and your Dad.
