Yeah 2-3 minutes is about right, but I think you actually can overblend it to where the butter won't clump together good. I'd take it slow, especially with a pwerful machine, because when the butter globs start forming you want them to come together, and the machine may keep seperating them as it spins.

So... I've been scouring the web for most of the day researching Jojoba cultivation. Based on what I've found, I think I might have to put this idea on a back burner for the time being. Takes a big investment and years before any payoff. Oh well! I really need to concentrate on becoming more self-sufficient, before I start thinking about growing some sort of cash crop!! I am a dreamer.... It even says so below my name!! :p

I suppose I could... The seeds have an oil content of 45-65%. So a few plants that are really producing would give me a fair amount of oil. Not enough to retire on, but enough for personal use and maybe to sell or trade to someone who makes homemade sunscreen, body oils, shampoos and conditioners. It's also a great mechanical lubricant.

How do you plant elderberries? Seems like you would just drop seeds as that's how they grow wild. Do you have a method, Pink Fox?
