Nope, just my facebook page. Got plenty of raised eyebrows there, though. What? Isn't everybodys chicken coop insulated, heated, with water and electric?! (OK, no heat or water, YET, but I may have just given him an idea )

I will anyway I was a poor kid..I learned to make fun of how much other folks spend at an early age so they wouldn't make too much fun of my "cheap"(yet fully functional) stuff Now I like being cheap

Oh dear...I ran an extension cord out to mine to keep the water from freezing, but that's as far as it goes here I have seen some chicken palaces. If I had the money though....I really don't think I'd spend that much anyway. It's for chickens, and they poop all over everything!!

I LIKE cheap! I grew up with make do stuff that worked great! Hubs, unfortunately, thinks that, should anyone he works with should drop by (hmmm.. twice in 11 years - yeah, the drop by all the time!) his work 'must reflect his pride in workmanship' I did get him to re-use some stuff on the coop, but I could've built a nice CABIN for the cost of the chicken house!! In fact, a family member suggested we move the chickens to the house and live in the coop, because IT was nicer :/

I know people like that too. It can be annoying, but he means well, mine does too Sounds like a great guy...I could trade with you for a week or so Do a "Husband Swap" rather than a wife swap
