I am definitely making crackers in the near future!! :drool That's the easiest recipe I've seen yet! Have you tried them with cheese? How much did you use? My guys are cheese freaks, so that will be what they'll want first. I'm thinking garlic and chive :drool

Wonder if anybody here would mind if we had crackers and cinnamon rolls for dinner?

Isn't that silly Snapshot - I thought the same thing - had a fleeting picture of mealworm crackers! Not enough of a deterrent to put me off crackers for dinner though!
I have not tried cheese yet... Italian seasoning blend and a little bit of (generic) Lawry's seasoned salt. You can also make them sweet by sprinkling them with cinnamon sugar.

That's it. Enough torture! I am off, dragging my backside to the kitchen to make crackers for dinner!

I'm bit late joining the party, but happy birthday! dawn was the one who roused my curiosity about your blog. Cinnamon rolls! :drool They cost $4 for two at the supermarket, I'd love to learn how to make my own...
Thanks Northed!! They are actually pretty easy to make. Do you bake bread? I just use my favorite bread dough and add a bit more sugar. But there are a million recipes out there! I'm going to try this recipe the next time!
Never actually baked bread myself. I'm scared to try after what happened the last time I tried to make a sponge cake. Anything of mine that goes in the oven and is meant to come out "soft and light"...

Practice makes perfect!! My first loaf of bread was pretty ugly, but it tasted great! I was kinda uptight and a bit anal when I first started baking; following every recipe to the T, making sure my measurements were exact, etc. But then Wannabefree gave me some advice... "Relax!" she said. "Baking is s'posed to be fun!" :thumbsup And it is!!

We're supposed to be in for a weekend of rain and heavy wind again! Looks like I'll be spending tomorrow baking and watching movies. I am so glad that those shingles came along when they did! We should be totally leak free... touch wood!

J's clients are here to pick up their dresses. They are extended family so they got a great deal. $100.00 for 4 dresses. They needed two traditional Samoan puletasis (dresses) each for a funeral. One white for Sunday and one black for Monday. It's a big Samoan funeral and there are so many traditions and rituals that have to be followed. Samoan funerals and weddings are major events! I'll post pics as soon as we have them.
