I wanted to let everyone know, I won't be participating for a while. Sorry but no more captioned moo pictures for a while... I know... Boo, hiss and all that, sorry...

It's nothing anyone here did. I've been feeling pretty bad for quite a long time. Now that my body has healed from adverse reaction to a prescription medication and I have my super energy back \o/ I just need to get busy doing what needs doing.

@FarmerJamie glad you're both feeling better. Yes, keep moving, eating good and rest! This flu seems to linger was longer than most.

@CrealCritter I understand less time on computer. BUT at least once a week just stop in to say a quick all is well!! Please. You know how we worry.

@baymule yep, I think "I am 40 and can still do it all". Then I try and find out that scaling down works better. Undaunted the next day, after recovering, I make more questionable choices We are just unstoppable ?? House looking good!!

@Grandmasporch I too wanted a milk cow!!! Not happening! But I have 15 dairy goats. milk does taste different between breed and feed. Like @Alaskan, I felt my Saanens gave milk that tasted more like "store bought". I have some with Nubian crossed in...still good milk. Those little Nigerians have more milk fat, which tastes way different. Good for cheese! If you just want at home dairy milk, reconsider a goat....maybe find some and sample before any purchase. I can handle these 200 +/- girls, I'm not much bigger than you and probably older. Or keep buying store milk! by the way, goat pellets don't burn the garden....and you sweep, not scoop piles.

Having second cup now. Going to 60 today....rain tonight and cold in low 40s rest of week, it is winter, right? Also charting what and when to begin plants inside...I'm just know I need my fresh garden veggies!! Lot of canning jars that need to be refilled.

Good morning everyone. Bit of a late start today, woke up not feeling too hot. Chickens are squawking outside like crazy people and ducks are mad I can’t get the door open. It froze shut!! As did my barn sink . High of 24 today so that could be a plus.
