Coffee is ready. Finishing my second cup. Then get dressed and out the door. Roofing party this morning at 6:30!! Fun for all! It will only hit 97F today, Monday it goes to 100, 104F by Wednesday! High humidity and chance of rain! Cold water, ice tea, lemonade provided! Lunch is homemade pimento cheese sandwiches and potato chips! Bring your work gloves!

Geesh....sounds like "fun"...🥴😳. Roofs are always several degrees hotter than air temps!!! DS was a roofer for years and yeah, start 5am....stop by noon in summer as heat was burning them. Lotta chips -- for the salt factor. You've got a job to remember!

Barn building will be easier

AND good morning,
grab a cup, there's some cinnamon on the counter if you want some in your coffee, I just made a fresh pot,
I think I'll thaw out some sausage and ground meat, to make a meat loaf for tomorrow.

Zone 6B or 7 can't decide
Obviously he's way bigger but you need pictures of him alone, no fence in front, several angles...side, rear, front...

Good try 🤣. I know you knew better   we can say, he's big and black!! 👍🤣
Yep he is big and black, no doubt about that and wide also 😂. I got him next to a railroad tie for reference and the fence is 4' tall. I've had him for 447 day as of today.

Time flies in earth!

Finishing my coffee, then outside to do chores before church. After church, going to Crockett for lunch and grocery shopping with sister in law. DD and family stopping by on their way home to drop off youngest granddaughter’s.

Got shingles off, nails pulled, roof cleaned off yesterday. Have rotten decking on front and back edges. Roof is covered in tarps. I’ll get new decking this week, get lined up with neighbor with big tractor to lift it to the roof and be ready for next Saturday.

@CrealCritter , as @Mini Horses said, need some unobstructed views to really give you a better "guesstimate".... but just off the top I would say he weighs in the 1150-1300 range.... really need some better views... he has more than enough finish on him... we would be taking him to kill now from those pictures. But need to see more of "him".
