Obviously he's way bigger but you need pictures of him alone, no fence in front, several angles...side, rear, front...

Good try 🤣. I know you knew better   we can say, he's big and black!! 👍🤣

It's Sunday \o/ have a blessed day 👍

They are calling for sky water, we really need it BADLY. Farmer's Corn fields looks like pineapple plants and beans are starting to yellow.

@CrealCritter , as @Mini Horses said, need some unobstructed views to really give you a better "guesstimate".... but just off the top I would say he weighs in the 1150-1300 range.... really need some better views... he has more than enough finish on him... we would be taking him to kill now from those pictures. But need to see more of "him".
He goes "to market" the middle of October. I'll finish him with cracked corn for 45 days prior. I'm guessing he's around your low end on weight estimate of 1100 ~ 1200 lbs. But I am not a very good guesser plus floppy skin brangus makes it more difficult for me.

First heat advisory of 2023. Yep... obviously... it's hot and humid out there. It's kind like saying brisket is big and black 😂. Speaking of critters I'm gonna go double check and ensure they all are topped off with water. Might be about all I do today. Unless I get bored, then I'll find something to do.

Well, only 88 here and I'm H.O.T. !!! winds just whipped up out of nowhere, 5 min ago. Just finishing last trough refill. See big old black clouds coming fast. Closed windows on truck & car, ran inside. Probably in for couple hours....or until ?

Weather!! Gotta love it. 🙃

Granddaughters are not coming, they are tired from their vacation In Missouri. I’m going to be busy anyway on the roof. So later is better.
Guess I was wiped out. Took an hour nap this afternoon!

Good Evening all! FH and I FINALLY set our wedding date: June 15,2024. We're just going to have a nondomination wedding officiant come to our house for the wedding and reception is going to be in the backyard. He says it's casual but he's having it catered ( Chicken, Pulled Pork, Mac Salad [ Mac & Cheese], Coleslaw, Baked Beans [MAYBE], Sweet Ice Tea, Lemonade, Water) Cost is $1500 plus a DJ cost is $400.

87 today, humid, had 2 pop up showers of 5 minutes each... enough to get your shirt wet... moved round bales off some of the fields so DS can get them stacked in the new hay barn/shed.... trying to get them off the fields sooner so the rain water will do the grass good and not have big dead spots where the rolls are sitting...
Rain and severe weather forecast tomorrow with winds of up to 60 mph in the early afternoon...

Worked in the garden a little, putting down some more mulch hay on thin spots... mowed a little of the lawn and chopped up some of the stuff I used the walk behind weed eater to take down and raked some of that and got it in the garden also. Hope to finish the mowing in the morning and see what the weather brings.
