@Grandmas Porch Middle of night canning ?!? šŸ¤£ BTDT

You're usually up at 4:30 or so -- did you nap an hr?? Gonna make a loooong day today.

I wasn't up half the night....worked outside all day. Came in tired and filthy. Showered and went to bed exhausted. Slept well! Up at 5 and after chores, I'll go to work today. Rains coming noonish, which was reason for all the grass raking in pastures yesterday.

Having morning coffee -- need some breakfast.

Hope everyone has a great day! :frow

Morning everyone!
I think I over did it a little yesterday knowing I am still dealing with bruised bones from last Sunday seeing how I am a little stiff this AM but it could be also because of the weather we're going to be getting later- RAIN and storms.
@Grandmas Porch I absolutely LOVE your kitchen!!!!!
I'm trying to get a shelf straight but I am having a hard time staying focused today so something is weighing on my mind very heavily.
P.S 310 days before "I DO"

On my first cup of coffee. I found something to do yesterday. Move concrete blocks to make runners for treated wood fence posts.

Then bolt the clamp on forks to the tractor bucket. I never did that, always letting my husband do the manly stuff.

Then I busted the bundle of posts on my flatbed trailer and loaded 3 posts on the forks. Post company says the 8ā€™ by 7ā€ top posts weigh 145 pounds, 10 pounds more than I do. 3 posts made the back end of 23 HP Marigold bounce a little, so I only put 2 on the forks. I worked at it the rest of the morning, taking several ice water breaks. I got an impressive pile of posts moved, still had 9 on the trailer when I quit at 12 noon.

The heat was getting unbearable. I donā€™t push to ā€œfinishā€ a job, I just quit when my body says itā€™s done. I watered the sheep, let Sentry in the house to his dog crate and put the other 2 Anatolians in the front yard so they and the 3 ram lambs could lay up under the porch to stay cool. I was done.

This morning my back is sore from lifting those solid concrete blocks. I bent my knees using leg muscles to lift but stillā€¦.. And I had to drag the fork pieces to the tractor, manhandle the posts, so I got a workout.

Slept late, 8:00 just finished first cup of coffee. I think I need to take the morning off. Maybe. Maybe not.

Good Morning!!
Coffees ready!! going in for a second cup,

about 10pm, i was just about to start putting GB's in jars and I noticed water on the floor-- Ya know how in a --@LaFleche , yes we moved in [Jan. 2022} to the new to us house we bought in Dec. 2021--- new house you are always finding something that you didnt see and now know OMstars it wasn't dont right --well that is the kitchen sink-- water on the floor cuz the 2 pvs pipes coming down from the sink drains have no threads for the 2 pvc nut part thing to screw on to/hang on to or and are not glued--so the truly only thing holding the whole pvc stuff up is the pice of pvc going out the wall to the main drain and my sweet DH of 74 almost got stuck on the floor trying to find out WTH was going on in there and our "temp" fix was to prop it up until he can get to home depot-----

He HATES PLUMBING!!!!! its going to get loud in the kitchen

Well I finished straightening up the shelf I was working on earlier then let 2 dogs in from the outside kennel seeing how it was raining now it's stopped sort of. Yes, I could put them back out but it's suppose to rain all day long so I would rather have them inside where they are dry. Now all are cozy on the couch napping and no place for me to sit LoL. Had to take a pic of that seeing how Remie was being adorable with Savage. That was the first I had witnessed that between them 2. Remie is tan one on top, Savage is grey one on bottom.
