thank you @FarmerJamie , I didnt want the GB'S to start browning so I Ninja'd up and got it done
@Mini Horses ??? 😄 what is BTDT--- no, no nap, and while the first batch was cooling I got the house vacuumed, the dogs loved being outside in the dark cool air, Ziva just laid in the dead grass barking at anything that moved hahahaha
@baymule WOW! and bionic knees to boot,, well done Ninja

Al'ri'de then,,,
Good Morning!!
Coffees ready!! going in for a second cup,
up at 5:45, chickens are out and all is well,, GB's are still cooling and lids are concave! :wee Botulism freaks me out is why I have never canned GB's:gig

about 10pm, i was just about to start putting GB's in jars and I noticed water on the floor-- Ya know how in a --@LaFleche , yes we moved in [Jan. 2022} to the new to us house we bought in Dec. 2021--- new house you are always finding something that you didnt see and now know OMstars it wasn't dont right --well that is the kitchen sink-- water on the floor cuz the 2 pvs pipes coming down from the sink drains have no threads for the 2 pvc nut part thing to screw on to/hang on to or and are not glued--so the truly only thing holding the whole pvc stuff up is the pice of pvc going out the wall to the main drain and my sweet DH of 74 almost got stuck on the floor trying to find out WTH was going on in there and our "temp" fix was to prop it up until he can get to home depot-----

He HATES PLUMBING!!!!! its going to get loud in the kitchen

I like your DH already, me too can not stand plumbing. I just fixed ours several months ago. I had to borrow a spanner wrench to get the nuts tight because our sink is a corner sink and limited space to get a wrench it there 🙄

There is a flat gray squishy washer thingy that fits in-between the pipe and the bottom of the drain. This is what is required to seal off the pipe and drain connection. The BORGs (Big Orange Retail Giants) don't carry it. The only place I found them was in a repair kit at tractor supply. Of course plumbers probably have a box full in their truck. It's the gray large washer thingys top right hand of the picture one required per connection.

I saw our LP man was at my neighbor's. He saw me and hollered I'll be over in a minute. Of course he has to give treats to my dog, so my dog followd him around. I like Tony a lot, he's a good man. We had a bit of church, talking about Jesus, while standing around the propane tank.

Anyways he said today best propane propane he's had prices in years, winter rates will kick in before we know it. So I filled up the truck this morning, thought about you all out here and decided to come on out. Propane at $1.59 a gallon delivered is hard to beat and I appreciate him thinking about us.

He packed in 147 gallons which is roughly what we used since last year when he topped us off. He said that's really good for a year. I think it's really good also 👍

P.S. I need to get farmbabe on propane range and off electric. I may do that here soon, if copper pipe has come down in price. It sure would help, if we need to run the generator for an extended period of time.
